COVID-19 SAFETY FOR IN-PERSON EVENTS
Our main priority is the safety of the Gixon community and this requires an effort from each of us. We ask all musicians and hosts to commit to these new practices while enjoying any in-person live music experience.
All musicians must:
- Follow current social distancing guidelines and government regulations and advisories.
- Wear a mask and/or gloves if requested when not performing. This will have to be discussed and agreed on between the host and the musician prior to the performance.
- Bring your own bottle of water and hand sanitiser.
- Avoid physical contact.
All hosts must:
- Clean and sanitise the designated performance area.

Additional guidance for musicians and hosts during Covid-19
We ask you to cancel your in-person event if:
- You have tested positive with Covid-19 in the last 30 days
- You are showing symptoms or are concerned about possible infection of COVID-19
- You’ve had close, contact with an individual confirmed or suspected to be infected with COVID-19 within the last 14 days
- You are awaiting test results to confirm or deny a diagnosis of COVID-19
